Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Beadium app and website (the "Service"), operated by Tetiana Diachek, a sole trader trading as Beadium, based in the United Kingdom. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Beadium is a bead-pattern design tool for creating, weaving and organising beadwork patterns on mobile and web.
2. Your account
You can browse as a guest or create an account. Keep your login details secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to subscribe.
3. Your content & ownership
You keep ownership of the patterns you create. You grant Beadium a limited licence to store, sync and display your content so we can run the Service for you.
Community sharing: when you tap Share, your pattern is published to Global Patterns and becomes visible to everyone using the Beadium app and website. It is shown with your Display Name as the creator, or "Anonymous" if you have not set one (you can set a Display Name in Settings). By sharing you confirm the pattern is yours to share, you agree it may be used free of charge by the community, and you grant other users the right to duplicate it and make finished items from it (including selling those items). You remain the author; others may not resell or publish the pattern itself as their own design.
You can make a shared pattern private again at any time (My Patterns → the pattern → Private), which removes it from the public library going forward. However, copies that other users already duplicated remain in their own collections and cannot be recalled.
Reference photos used for tracing are processed on your device and never uploaded, on the website as well as in the mobile app. We store the traced pattern, never the photo it came from.
4. Acceptable use
- Patterns you design yourself are yours. You may keep, export (Pro), share, sell or give away your own patterns, and you may sell finished beaded items you make from any pattern.
- Duplicating a pattern from Global Patterns is welcome — that is exactly what the Duplicate button is for. You can bead it, adapt it for your own use and sell the finished items you make. It stays the original author's design, though: do not resell or publish someone else's pattern (or an edited copy of it) as your own, and do not pass it off as your original design.
- When designing, make sure you have the right to any photo or artwork you trace or include — do not use copyrighted characters, logos or third-party artwork without permission.
- Shared content must be appropriate. Do not publish patterns, images, names or words that are offensive, hateful, illegal or infringing. We may remove shared content we consider harmful to the Service or its users, with or without prior email notice, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly breach this.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
5. Guest mode
Guests can draw a limited number of patterns per day, saved on the device only (not synced). Sign up free to save your work to your account and use it across devices; guest work migrates to your account on sign-in.
6. Subscriptions & billing
Beadium Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. It starts with a 3-day free trial; after that it renews at the stated price until you cancel. Prices may vary by platform, region and currency, and a free trial is available once — resubscribing later may not include one.
Pro unlocks features on every device where you sign in to the same Beadium account, no matter where you bought it. Pro is personal to your account and is not shared through Apple Family Sharing.
Where you subscribe is where you manage it. On iPhone and iPad, Pro is sold through the Apple App Store; on Android, through Google Play; on the web, through our payment provider (Stripe). Manage or cancel it in that same place — App Store or Google Play account settings for a mobile subscription, or your Beadium account on the web for a web subscription. Billing, renewals and refunds are handled by whichever platform you purchased through (Apple, Google or Stripe), under their terms.
For web subscriptions paid through Stripe: because Pro gives immediate digital access, by subscribing you ask for that access to start right away and you acknowledge that you therefore lose the statutory 14-day cancellation (withdrawal) right once the subscription period has begun. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments for a period already started are non-refundable — you can still cancel to stop future renewals. Applicable VAT or sales tax is shown and added at checkout according to your region. Mobile purchases follow the App Store / Google Play refund and tax rules instead.
Cancelling stops future renewals from the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro until then. A subscription can only be cancelled on the platform it was bought on, and cancelling in one place does not cancel a separate subscription started elsewhere — so please avoid subscribing on more than one platform at a time.
If your Pro subscription ends, Pro-only features (export, extra palettes, and patterns above the Free limits) stop working, but we do not delete your patterns — anything above the Free limits becomes read-only or hidden until you resubscribe or bring your account within the Free limits. We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice; changes never affect the period you have already paid for.
7. Plans & limits
Free and Pro include different limits (saved patterns, palettes, auto-trace, export, inventory), as shown on the Subscription screen. We may adjust features and limits over time.
8. Intellectual property
The Beadium name, logo, app and its content (other than your own patterns) belong to us and may not be used without permission.
9. Disclaimer & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in Settings.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Contact: [email protected].
