September update: Shapes, Pro Patterns and a better PDF export

Beadium's September update adds Shapes for fast drawing, exclusive Pro Patterns, PDF import for your own seed bead charts, and a PDF export with your logo. • Shapes — draw a line, square, rectangle, circle, triangle or rhombus in a single drag, as an outline or filled. The edges stay clean on peyote and brick, so you can block out a bracelet or a pair of earrings in seconds instead of colouring bead by bead. • Pro Patterns — an exclusive collection of Beadium designs for Pro subscribers. Weave any of them row by row in Beading Mode, try your own Delica colours without changing the original, and download the ready-made PDF. • Import PDF (beta) — bring in your own PDF pattern files. Beadium reads the word chart and the bead list and turns them into a pattern you can follow row by row, with your progress synced between the app and the website. Imported patterns stay private: they can't be shared or exported. • A better Export PDF — more flexible templates, your own logo and branding, a language of your choice for the printed pattern, a cover page, larger symbol charts, and a long list of fixes. • Smarter colours and palettes — editing a colour now repaints its beads and keeps its legend letter, new palettes ask for a name, and switching a palette tells you which colours it will add and whose letters to keep. • Plus — a redesigned Explore with Global Patterns and Pro Patterns up front, imported patterns marked on their cards, updated Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and many smaller fixes. Everything works the same way in the Beadium app for iPhone and Android and on beadium.com: design peyote, brick, loom, fringe and kite patterns in your browser, then pick them up on your phone with your beading progress in place. Big August update: Fringe pairs, improved Tracing & a better Beading Mode

• Fringe Earrings — pair editing. Design both earrings on one canvas: draw them in mirror sync, or switch sync off and make each one unique. • Photo tracing, improved. The Trace to Pattern feature got a big upgrade — better colour matching and a live preview of the result while you tune it. • Beading Mode, levelled up. Mark how far you've woven right on the word chart, weave by rows or by columns, and where a pattern has an official Beadium tutorial you'll find a button with a free video guide. • Know your size. Every pattern now shows its approximate finished size — switch between centimetres and inches anytime. • Refreshed colour panel for faster, more comfortable drawing. • For Pro: build a colour palette from your own bead inventory and draw with only the beads you actually have; and the PDF export got a big upgrade — save your own templates, edit the word chart for the printout, and add your branding to every exported pattern. • Plus: the app now checks your internet connection and lets you know, for a smoother experience. SIX NEW STITCHES

Two-drop and three-drop peyote, two-drop and three-drop brick. Beads work in pairs or triples per stitch, so a pattern grows faster and reads exactly like the printed charts you already use. Kite Earrings. Two mirrored peyote halves worked top down from a two-bead start, joined along a herringbone spine. Tell us how many V-rows you want and the width follows. Fringe Earrings. A brick triangle woven from the point down, with a fringe strand hanging under every bead of the base. Pick the brick variant, the triangle width and the strand length, and reshape any of it later without losing your drawing.

Quelle est la différence entre métier à tisser, brick stitch et peyote ?

Au métier à tisser, les perles s'alignent en rangs et colonnes droits — parfait pour les bracelets et manchettes. Le brick stitch et le peyote décalent un rang sur deux d'une demi-perle, d'où leurs grilles en quinconce ; le peyote existe en nombre pair et impair. Beadium dessine chaque technique sur une grille fidèle au tissage réel.
