SIX NEW STITCHES

Two-drop and three-drop peyote, two-drop and three-drop brick. Beads work in pairs or triples per stitch, so a pattern grows faster and reads exactly like the printed charts you already use. Kite Earrings. Two mirrored peyote halves worked top down from a two-bead start, joined along a herringbone spine. Tell us how many V-rows you want and the width follows. Fringe Earrings. A brick triangle woven from the point down, with a fringe strand hanging under every bead of the base. Pick the brick variant, the triangle width and the strand length, and reshape any of it later without losing your drawing.

BEADIUM FAQ

Is Beadium free?

Yes — Beadium is free to use on the web, iOS and Android. Sign up free and the Free plan includes up to 10 saved patterns, 2 custom colour palettes, 2 auto-traces from a photo per day, every stitch (loom, brick, peyote, triangle) and Beading Mode. A few power features live in Beadium Pro.

What's included in Beadium Pro?

Pro unlocks unlimited saved patterns and palettes, unlimited auto-trace from photos, PDF export, offline mode and the Bead Inventory for tracking your bead stash. Beadium Pro is a subscription (not a one-time purchase) — it starts with a 3-day free trial, is billed monthly or yearly through the App Store or Google Play, and you can cancel anytime.

Which beading patterns can I create?

Loom patterns, brick stitch patterns, peyote patterns (even and odd count) and triangle bead patterns — all on a realistic 3D bead grid that mirrors real beadwork.

Can I make Miyuki Delica and seed bead patterns online for free?

Yes. Design seed bead and Miyuki Delica patterns right in your browser for free, picking colours from a real bead catalog. Exporting to PDF is a Beadium Pro feature.

Are there beading patterns for beginners?

Beadium is made for beginners: paint with your finger like a brush, weave the pattern row by row so you never lose your place, and browse the Global Patterns library for beginner-friendly designs.

Can I export my beading pattern as a PDF?

PDF export is part of Beadium Pro. Design your pattern for free, then upgrade to export a print-ready PDF with the bead chart and colour list.

How do I make a pattern for beaded earrings?

Pick brick stitch or peyote, set the size for a pair of earrings, then paint your design straight onto the grid — fringe, triangles or geometric motifs. Beading Mode walks you through it row by row, and Pro exports a print-ready PDF.

Can I turn a photo into a bead pattern?

Yes. Place a photo under the grid and run auto-trace: Beadium reads each cell and matches it to real Miyuki Delica colours, so you get a chart you can actually weave. Free includes 2 auto-traces a day; Pro is unlimited.

What's the difference between bead loom, brick stitch and peyote?

On a bead loom the beads line up in straight rows and columns — best for bracelets and cuffs. Brick stitch and peyote offset every other row by half a bead, which is why their charts look staggered; peyote comes in even and odd count. Beadium draws each technique on a grid that matches the real beadwork.

Where can I find free beading patterns to start from?

In the Global Patterns library, where other beaders share their designs. Browsing is free — duplicate any pattern into your collection to bead it or adapt it. The original creator always stays credited.
